Chicken - Liver (Soy Free)

Eat your liver, its good for you!

Why? Because it is a super food packed with tons of essential vitamins and minerals!

Chicken liver is especially high in vitamin A, vitamin C, B12, and Iron.

In fact liver is so nutrient packed it is viewed as a supplemental food.

Cultures have been using the nutritional power of liver for centuries to support the diet of pregnant women and those who are ill.

But anyone can benefit from eating liver now and then, it is like a vitamin in every bite!

How to cook:

  1. Rinse the livers and pat them dry with a towel.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons chicken fat in a large frying pan, and add the onion. Stir occasionally for about 12 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.
  3. Remove the onions from the pan.
  4. Return the frying pan to the fire and add 2 tablespoons of chicken fat.
  5. Sprinkle salt on the livers, and place them in the frying pan in a single layer. Cook the livers for about two minutes on each side. You may have to cook the livers in batches. Add the rest of the chicken fat, as necessary.
  6. Your livers are ready to be eaten!
